Recently, I thought I lost my EDC (every day carry) Fenix E01 LED flashlight. I ordered a replacement immediately, since it’s been a steady and reliable tool for me. As it turned out, I found my flashlight, so now I have 2 E01s in my arsenal. It’s always good to have a backup!

In Christmas 2004, a powerful tsunami washed over coastal areas in Southeast Asia, extending all the way to Africa’s west coast. The tsunami took more than 200,000 lives, and some people were never recovered or identified. Much of this loss might have been avoided had an effective emergency preparedness system been in place.
