According to a report from the UK Meterological Office, 2007 may be the country’s wettest summer ever since records began. Torrential rain has been especially heavy this year, with rain falls reaching 358.5mm (14.114in), narrowly beating the previous 1956 record of 358.4mm (14.110in).
