Are you ready for a flood?
Heavy rains caused the river Danube in Europe to rise to the highest levels in more than a century. Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary have been affected by flooding caused by the swollen Danube. Now the BBC reports that evacuations have begun as Danube dams burst.
Are you ready for a flood? Now’s the time to get ready. Make sure your supplies are elevated from the floor and keep your essential items in waterproof containers. If you live near a river, always watch for rising water levels and pre-plan your evacuation procedures and routes.
